Blanket weed or Spirogyra Adnate is the most prolific pond weed in the U.K. today.

The treatments which have been used to remove this annoying problem have largely been removed from the market by D.E.F.R.A. including totally safe and proven products with GlycoPhosphate bases. This is just another example of Government interference in an area which frankly needed none.
